Yaseen Qureshi
Yaseen Qureshi is a fourth-year student in the University of Chicago's joint BA/MA program, majoring in Economics with a master's in International Relations. He most recently served as a Summer Associate in Citi's Equity Research division, working on the SMID Cap Biotech desk. His prior experience spans ABC News, Ariel Investments, the Advocate Health Endowment Fund, HP Tech Ventures, and Citadel Enterprises, along with additional roles in venture capital, academia, and the non-profit sector. Yaseen is excited to step into the role of CIO at Maverick SMF, building on two cycles as an Analyst and four as a Portfolio Manager for the Healthcare team. Outside of Maverick, he plays tennis, performs cello in the University Orchestra, follows Premier League football, and explores Chicago's restaurant scene.
