Mike Dirksen
Mike Dirksen is a third-year student at the University of Chicago studying Mathematics, Economics, and Statistics. Within Maverick SMF, he serves as Portfolio Manager for Energy & Industrials and helps the Head of Quantitative Strategies. Michael has previously interned in investment and portfolio management research at Wespath Institutional Investments and in quantitative research at J. Goldman & Co., and will join Susquehanna International Group as a Quantitative Trading Intern in 2027. Outside of Maverick, he enjoys poker, weightlifting, football, and anything competitive!
