Mike Dirksen
Mike Dirksen is a third-year student at the University of Chicago studying Mathematics, Economics, and Statistics. Within Maverick SMF, he serves as the Head of Quantitative Strategies and was the former portfolio manager for the Industrials & Materials team. Michael has previously interned in investment and portfolio management research at Wespath Institutional Investments and in quantitative research at J. Goldman & Co., and will join Susquehanna International Group as a Quantitative Trading Intern in 2027. Outside of Maverick, he enjoys poker, weightlifting, football, and anything competitive!
